Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day is this month. With its emphasis on boy-girl relationships it is at best a great distraction and is inappropriate for school. The potential for divisiveness and hurt feelings is very real. This can occur even when friends of the same gender are signaled out for cards or gifts. We consider sending cards, notes, and gifts inappropriate for school. However, it would be fine for some of the students to bring cookies or cupcakes to share with the class. Thank you for supporting us in preserving a strong school culture.

Spring Social and Fundraiser
Saturday, March 17
----- two iPads to be raffled!
Come celebrate St. Patrick's Day with friends, faculty and alumni of Trinity School on Saturday, March 17, at 7 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1545 Chain Bridge Road in McLean.
Enjoy a rich time of fellowship along with a potluck of hors d'oeuvres and desserts. Mr. Dusenbury and Trinity students will provide entertainment for the evening.
Try your Irish luck and buy a chance to win one of two Apple iPads being raffled for this event. Winners will be chosen that night.
Please mark your calendars, wear your green and support Trinity School in filling its pot o' gold!
Proceeds from the Spring Social and Fundraiser will be directed to capital improvements to the school.

Winter Sports
End-of Season Parties
The end-of-season parties for both the boys' and girls' basketball teams will be held on Saturday, March 3, from noon to 2 p.m. at Kilroys, 5250-A Port Royal Road, Springfield, Va 22151. Middle School boys and Varsity Boys will be on the back patio. Middle School Girls and Varsity Girls will be inside. |

Spring Sports Meeting
The Spring Sports meeting will be held Tuesday, February 28, at 7 p.m., in The Commons. Athletes who intend to play boys lacrosse or girls soccer should attend this meeting with a parent. Spring sports will begin on Thursday, March 1. More information about practice locations, times and game schedules will be sent out later this month.
All sports physicals must be current in order for a student to participate in practices or games. If you are unsure whether your child's sports physical is current, please contact Mary Feeks at mcfeeks@trinityschools.org.
