General Supplies for All Trinity School Students

These are the basic supplies, but some teachers many require additional supplies after class begins.

• Assignment notebook.
• One spiral notebook and one pocket folder for each course (unless noted otherwise on the list below). It is helpful if notebooks, folders and binders (if required) are color-coded for each course.
• Blue or black ballpoint pens (not erasable).

• Red ballpoint pen (not erasable).

• Pencils with erasers.

• Colored Pencils.

• Loose-leaf paper (College-ruled)-replenish as needed.

• Dictionary. New College Edition: American Heritage or equivalent hardcover dictionary with approximately 200,000 words (electronic possible).

• Locker shelves (metal ones recommended). Please note, lockers are narrow. They measure 16 1/2 " deep, 11 3/4" wide. Note: The opening is only 8 1/2" wide.

• High School students are required to purchase the Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus Graphing Calculator from local retailers or online. (No substitutes allowed.) The TI-83 Plus Graphing Calculator will be used in all ninth- through twelfth-grade math and science courses.

Additional Supplies per Course/Grade Level

Seventh Grade

Prealgebra:

  • Do not purchase compasses or protractors until recommendations are made in second semester.
  • 6” ruler (clear and flat).
    -3-ring binder for handouts

Latin:

  • Four packs of 3x5 index cards.

Life Science:

  • Good eraser.

Old Testament:

  • Markers.
  • Highlighter.
    • No notebook needed.

Art:

  • Kneaded eraser.
  • A folder will be provided.
  • Pencil sharpener with shavings receptacle.
    • No notebook needed.

Music:

  • Loose-leaf paper.
  • Three-ring binder with view sleeve on front and back.
  • One pack 3x5 unlined index cards.


Eighth Grade

Algebra:

  • Two separate spiral notebooks.
  • Calculator with square and square root capability.

Latin:

  • Four packs of 3x5 index cards.

Earth Science:

  • Good eraser.

Art:

  • Kneaded eraser.
  • Smock for watercolor.
  • Pencil sharpener with shavings receptacle.
    • No notebook needed.

Music:

  • Three-ring binder with view sleeve on front and back.
  • One pack 3x5 unlined index cards.

Ninth Grade

Mathematics:

  • TI-83 Plus Graphing Calculator (No substitutes are accepted).

Humane Letters:

  • One medium-size three-ring binder.

Tenth Grade

No additional supplies needed.

Eleventh and Twelfth Grades

Art:

Kneaded eraser.
White charcoal pencil.
Pencil sharpener with shavings receptacle.
No notebook needed.
